Andrew, fourth generation Tasmanian
I’m a fourth generation Tasmanian and 60-year-old grandfather.
I was born and educated in Tasmania before gaining a veterinary degree from Sydney University.
I Worked in rural veterinary practice in South Australia and Victoria before returning home in 1977 to allow our children the privilege of growing up in Tasmania.
I believe we have a responsibility to manage our environment for the benefit of future generations.
The tall eucalypt forests of Tasmania represent a priceless asset that must be preserved, not squandered for the short term gain of a few.
I want to be able to say to my grandchildren that I played a small part in the protection of their heritage.
